I always got a kick out of the name of the school. Since MLK was a junior, but the school is a senior high school, they'd write out (and say) his whole entire name, but they'd add the senior bit in there lest anyone think we were a junior high school. ;-)

ReplyDeletei wish there were a picture of gayle in here. gram would get a kick out of that. (gayle goes to their church now.) gayle was another math teacher, but when the old math dept. head (the gal on the far left in the picture) retired, gayle got her job.
i'll have to dig up the pics from Bridgemont (SF school) and post them here. i've got loads in the basement (which is about 20% packed or junked/recycled/given-away at this point).
