The woman on the left in this picture is my granny - my dad's dad's mom. Her name was Nellie Kulchesky Woskowich (nee Kulchesky Khust). She came over from Ukraine when she was a teenager because she was "tired of taking care of the horses."
The other woman in the picture is her first cousin. My dad's notes on the back of the picture are a little cryptic, but I think this is Mary Baranetcka, mother of Josephene. (The spellings of the names are by my dad and I'm not sure if they're accurate or he just didn't know how to spell Josephine. I'm sure Baranetcka could be transliterated a number of ways.)
